When the going gets tough...

You know how people used to say, when something bad happens, it happens in a sequence of events and when you finally overcome that bad luck...everything will be back to normal or even better? Well, guess what happened to me today? It's all regarding phone phone and more phones. Just an insight, my house phone hasn't been working for almost a week now and only now i got the time to call up the customer service line to enquire about the fault. Well, first of all when i wanted to call them, my hp ran out of credit. So, i thought i could just use the public phone instead since it costs so much to call 13 numbers from a hp. Then, i got through the customer service line with just 40 cents in the public phone. Next thing, they asked me for a number which they could contact, and knowing that my hp is half dead and with Eugene,i put them on hold, ran down the stairs, called out to Eugene who was on the way to uni and asked him for his phone and phone number [i think i should at least start remembering his number, huh?]. So then, after the confusing conversation with the lady on the other line, finally reach a conclusion that they will check what was wrong and repair it by monday. The irony is that i wasn't the one who was desperate to use the phone. I went through all this trouble for my pitiful housemates who 1. can't call girlfriend, and 2. can't use the Internet. By the way, during the process of running up and down the stairs, i banged my arm against the wall! It still hurts now as i am typing this, please don't turn blue black. *ouch* Not only that, today has been a cold and rainy day. I had to walk back from uni all alone under the cold cold rain. Tough luck?
