absence

|
i had disappeared from the surface of the cyberworld due to unforeseen circumstances. initially was trying to get back on track with work and all of a sudden...my lappie crashed. it was a tragic incident...i did not managed to revive it despite all my efforts. almost tried to get it fixed at my own expense but ended up complaining to supervisor and he managed to get the IT guys to do something about it. so my lappie was left at the hand of the supposedly expert in the field for a total of 3 weeks. don't ask me why it took so long...for all i know it was just sitting there. i'll just give them the benefit of the doubt. now that i got it back...FINALLY...i'm still checking if there's anything wrong from the recovery. it wasn't reformat as it was recovered. data seemingly still intact. being very wary of warning messages. the most alarming of all was "the battery is reaching the end of its usable life". i've only got my lappie for less than 2 years and i don't use the battery unless i have to and upon returning from quarantine it's dying on me!? i've tried to fully discharge and recharge but the same message still pops up. i wonder if it's gonna affect anything if i don't do anything about it. what do you think?

anyways. hopefully i'm back in action. =D
